POWER YOUR PERFORMANCE

Over the last several years, Suzuki has been utilizing the state of art technology derived from various forms of racing alongside the developments of new motorcycles. The benefits now expand beyond engine and chassis refinements to the development of a new high-performance motorcycle oil line: ECSTAR Suzuki Genuine Oil.

Feedback from technicians and riders at the highest levels of racing is instrumental in creating a high-performance premium oil that not only exceeds all JASO MA2 standards, but more importantly, was formulated by Suzuki engineers. When using ECSTAR in their own motorcycles, scooters and ATVs, Suzuki owners can be confident that their engine oil can stand up to the extreme temperatures and high RPMs that are generated in a racing environment.

ECSTAR Suzuki Genuine Oil is available now in various formulations to meet the needs of every owner from the professional racer to the daily commuter or recreational off-road rider.

Performance Index

Viscosity Index (VI) measures how oil viscosity is affected by temperature changes. A high VI means oil performance will not degrade or change under extreme temperature variations.

The benefits of ECSTAR oil with a higher VI include:

  • Lower oil consumption
  • Reduced engine wear
  • Improved starting
  • Reduced fuel consumption

  • Kinematic viscosity measures the ability of oil to flow. Oil with lower viscosity provides better protection during cold starts and contributes to better fuel economy as it flows with less resistance.

Sulfated ash accumulation in your engine can reduce performance and contribute to shorter engine life. Suzuki only uses high-quality base stock oil with low sulfur content. Additionally, ECSTAR's advanced additive packages minimize ash deposits.

The NOACK rating measures evaporative losses in engine oils. This is important because raising the operating temperature of an engine typically affects oil viscosity.

Evaporation results in more viscous (thicker) oil, which can lead to reduced fuel economy and poor engine performance due to an increase in load. A lower NOACK number means less overall oil consumption.
